When I was about to enter my sophomore year of college, I realized that I wanted to give back to my community in a specialized way that showcased my talents and abilities so I could do the best job possible. That is when I decided to begin a very special project called The Happiest Stage on Earth. This project was a traveling showcase in which fellow theater classmates of mine and I would perform Disney songs for children in hospitals, special needs schools, and underprivileged areas. With all of the amazing support from my talented friends, I was able to bring the magic of Disney to children who might have never gotten to experience it firsthand.

Although the planning and coordination of the project was intense, coming up with the idea was not difficult. I looked at my two favorite things, performing and Disney, and created a plan to use my talents in a way that would benefit my community most. This was my first project as an entrepreneur and I have no doubt that there will be many more to come.

I decided to take ENT3003 because I want to advance my business creativity skills. In the future, I hope to be an executive of a successful food corporation and I want to give helpful input to the company and my staff members. Taking this class will hopefully assist me in becoming more creative in my methods for productivity as well as helping me come up with new products and items.

  1. I admire your philanthropic experience in the past. I have been meaning to be involved in humane projects like yours, so I can develop my wholistic soft skills. Giving back to community on personal level is truly inspiring rather remotely helping it.

I have tutored SAT for underprivileged high school students in the past and it was a humbling experience.

  2. Having an opportunity to combine two of your favorite things while still giving back to the community is an incredible way to break into entrepreneurship. I like that you recognized it as entrepreneurial, that you have the confidence to know you will have many more projects to develop, and that you hope to advance your creativity using skills from the course.
